Requirements Checklist
Ferry:
Ferry departs from Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale to Bimini on your specified departure day at 9:00AM.
For Week 2 departures:
We will email your terminal and boarding pass (please print)! Upon arrival to terminal, you will show your passport at ferry check-in. There is parking at the port for $15 per day.
Please arrive well in advance to the ferry departure time. Doors close 1 hour before departure, so plan accordingly to arrive early 2-3 hours prior to departure time. No changes will be allowed and there is no alternate ferries/transportation if you miss your ferry. Upon returning from Bimini DO NOT LOSE THE RETURN BOARDING PASS. If you lose your return boarding pass go to the Balearia office in Fisherman’s village at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled departure. Bring your checked bags to the harbor to check in before boarding.
Baggage: As a courtesy to our guests, each adult passenger is allowed ONE carry on item free of charge (basically same rules as an airplane). Carry-on bag and small purse/backpack is included. Bags up to 50LBS are $60 Round-Trip. Regular TSA security measures will be in place. Security at Port Everglades the right to search baggage for hazardous substances or any type of contraband, including weapons, controlled substances or any other items prohibited by federal, state or local authorities. Per international travel rules all non-prescription drugs are not permitted and illegal to travel to and from the Bahamas with. No alcohol or liquids are permitted, no water bottles, all of these will be confiscated. If you wouldn’t bring it on a plane, you shouldn’t bring it on the ferry. Packing snacks and full size toiletries are okay to bring.
Hotel:
Hilton Resorts World at Bimini
You will pre check-in to your room on the ferry, which will expedite your check-in process at the resort. You will pick up your room key at the front desk of the hotel by showing your ID or passport. Resorts World will provide a shuttle from the ferry dock to the Hilton check-in. The resort is just a minute away from the dock.
Please note one person in every room will be required to put a credit or debit card on the room for $100/day refundable deposit in case of any damage to the room or incidentals. This must be placed 1 card so please make arrangements for that.
Wristband + Schedule:
You will receive your STFU & Party wristband at the ferry check-in! This wristband will get you access to events all weeklong. You will need your wristband to get into all of the events. There are no replacements for lost wristbands. The event schedule as well as other extras like VIP table reservations, excursions, etc will be updated this week on www.stfuandparty.com/resources
Know Before You Go:
Weather + Attire: Weather is around 80 degrees during the day, 65-70 degrees at night. We recommend bringing a light sweater, and of course plenty of bathing suits and lots of suntan lotion. Dress for all events in informal attire.
Cell Service + Wifi: There is free Wi-Fi in the Hilton. You will be in the Bahamas, and as such, unless you have an international cell plan, you will be charged roaming fees if you use your cell service. We recommend putting your phone in airplane mode and using the resort Wi-Fi.

In Case of Emergency + Medical Information: Please keep in mind that you will be in a foreign country that has a completely different set of laws. The closest courthouse is in Nassau, to where the Bimini local police are happy to book you on a one way ticket. Please be kind and respectful to the island, the resort, and its locals as we are just guests in their home.
